Oak

is not only a beautiful, longliving and a practical tree; the word oak - in Norwegian eik - is also in our family name. So it was a very easy choice for me!

Vähe sellest, et ma linnapildistamise teema peale ärkasin alles eile ja ysna juhuslikult (kui pakki toomas käies yle raudtee noori puukesi öitsemas nägin), olin ma ka selles kohas esimest korda.

See on pisut absurdne, kuna möned meetrid eemal, yle raudtee jaamas olles - ja seda ilmselt sadu kordi mitmete aastate vältel - olen ma silmadega ju sellest kohast ka sadu kordi yle libisenud, ilma sinnapoole sammugi tegemata... (teiselpool raudteed on ainult elumajad, asja sinna pole).

Minu vaev sai kuhjaga tasutud ilusa kassiskulptuuri leidmise näol, mis seisis tagasihoidlikult pargi teises servas.
Kui veel möelda, et selle suvekuumusega on öitsemine paari päevaga möödas, siis topelttabamus.

See on uus park, mis paar aastat tagasi siia rajati, vana kövasti kohendades. Åkersbergast on mul palju pilte ja palju ilusamatest kohtadest, aga neil piltidel on värskuse lisaväärtus.

Ja kohe-kohe tuleb volber :)

I liked it, but my grandchild decided to be a very moral person here, turning her back to the nudes ;).

Project Looking Through

My project Looking Through is a look out the window, like Anna has - I found the project there.

This view was the best I found from my foulders, but the project idea I liked much. If I have only more time and health to walk around...but lack of both makes me to go back to my archives. So...
This is was a view from a hotel window in Sharjah...I even found the notebook (I collect them): Executive room, Holiday Inn ...;)
That time in UAE we were travelling using points, so we got the best rooms everywhere. Actually, as we happened to be there on their weekend, we heard many times the call to prayer from the mosque. Every muslim would be happy - even the direction to Mecca was marked on the table and there was a praying carpet in the wardrobe...

This traffic sign J. saw somewhere in Arabic countries (as he has been in many of them, so we can't say in which place exactly the sign was).

Somebody has "placed" the bucket under the camel's...tale. May-be it means that the camel production has a big value?
