Thurdsday Challenge

Scent Bottle and Armrings

This still life was inspired by today's Thursday Challenge. I think jewelry and scents are a good match.
Those golden armrings (made from gold and white gold) is a gift from J., bought from Dubai.

The parfym is a gift from my daughter (Diesel - Fuel For Life Eau de Parfum).

You will find more jewelry here

A souvenir from Mexico?

...and still in a wrapper.
The picture is snapped in the Madrid Airport, in a coffee bar near the gate for the travellers going to Stockholm. Not yesterday, not even this year, but I think the situation is timeless...:)

Nautical - The Fram Museum in Oslo

http://www.fram.museum.no/en/

That's a place I want to go more and more. There is few museums I like so much and I don't know actually the reason. Can be many. The books from childhood, J.-s connection with the sea (he is from many generations seamen's family ); the romantic attitude...

Why My Flight Got Delayed

As today is such a grey day with the low sky and the wet snow, I'll post here a picture from these days we get the first serious snowshowers...
The view is from the window of Tallinn Airport.

Odd Shots Monday

This house I visited once quite often, especially when the cold season hit me and I needed some help.

Lately, over the long-long time I stepped in and saw:

This was like a museum... it was the museum!
Guess where I was?

The Raeapteek (English: Town Hall Pharmacy; German: Ratsapotheke) is in the center of Tallinn city, Estonia.
Opposite the
Town Hall, at house number 11, it is one of the oldest continuously running pharmacies in Europe, having always been in business in the same exact house since the early 15th century. It is also the oldest commercial enterprise and the oldest medical establishment in Tallinn.
The first known image of the Town-Hall Pharmacy is an oil-painting by
Oldekop, showing Tallinn's Town Hall Square in 1800. The first photos of the building date from 1889.
