Water!

As I happened to be once again home with my PC and saw that this week Photohunt's word is water, I was not able to resist to use (or misuse) the theme...
The photos are taken exactly the same spot where my Odd Shot's Monday's picture from the 9th of June is - just because we have our summer cottage near by...
Our cat saw the big WATER...
Is it wet?!
...and it's so dark after the afternoon rain...

...no, better I go home, the water is not for me!

Odd Shots Monday

A postbox can be so simple...a door in Palma's old city.
Mallorca 2006

I promised to take a pause many postings ago, I think now I'll take it really...of course I try to see others and time to time comment too.

3 windscreen shots from the North

There is foggy and rainy near Riksgränsen...(North of Sweden, near the border of Norway).
This is a special place on our route. Coming from Sweden we know that we have to forget the good weather and the good roads.
Coming from Norway we are happy: soon we are over the mountains and the sun will shine again...

Regina in Riga

ABC Wednesday - letter R
Being under the influence of Odd Shot Monday I decided to take part with those funny pictures.
Of course, as my name begins also with R I had an enormous temptation to step out and show myself too...
-
If I only could to clue those two pictures quickly together - it's the same tower.
And here I am, in Riga and in the mirror of the tower. Always mysterious :).
But now the opening photo of the letter R:

M/S Regina Baltica on Daugava river, port of Riga
Regina Baltica is an old cruise ship, before the ferry used to go from Stockholm to Tallinn. Now it's soon finishing it's work at Stockholm - Riga route too and who knows which country will buy it...
I have many good and bad memories with Regina, mostly good but too heavy storms too. But that's passé, gone, finished.
I made the last cruise to Riga last spring, the same time as now, and don't regret that I never shall step on M/S Reginas board again. When Regina chainged the route, they changed the crew too and nothing was the same. So ships are not only vessels but seamen too...
Another two R-s:
Restaurant in Riga

No two R's but just funny...
An art gallery in Riga
, I had no time to peep in.

But I said them that I'll come back, touching the donkey's nose.
It's promising, isn't it!?
