That would be against the law here. Everyone must provide a box that others can't have access to your mail. It is illegal to open someone else's mailbox or put ads. notices in them. Hopefully it doesn't rain much there but then, it is probably really dry the way the paint is peeling off the building. I like that door knocker tho -- its a keeper!

Sure I was surprised... That day was beautiful, but we saw some rain too. So I don't know.
Here in Sweden we must have postboxes, postman never leave post like that, but once my package from US was behind my bicycle- it was too big for the postbox, I myself was away for two days, and my good nabour, seeing it laying behind my door, put it behind my bike in the corner...
