ABC Wednesday for J - jockey

Sorry about the quality. That day I took the photo it was dark but I did not want to use the flash.
I found that unfinished painting behind some old things in the pantry, just two days after we have bought the summer cottage with all things inside (it was the deal).
There were more paintings - all landscapes, all finished; that was the only one with figures...

Nice of the previous owner to provide you with such a useful topic for the theme today.

That was an interesting find! And perfect for ABC Wednesday on 'J' day!

I rather like it, actually. Pity it wasn't finished.

Of course, J is for Jockey.
Very nicely done.
I could have done that also but instead did Jack Frost on my ABC Wednesday letter J post.

Makes a person wonder why someone would leave stuff like this behind...

Thank you all for the kind words. Yes, it was pleasant surprise to find so many things that ABC Wednesday can get pictures many years :).
We are the 3d owners and actually there must be the first owners things too, especially tools. How they were related and what's the story, I don't know. Nobody died there as far I know.
I took carpets off and put paintings instead, thats the only big change we did...
I think, the first owner (a man) has paintings, the second owner (an old woman) has carpets.
Who knows...
