North Norway

Here we lived once.

Not for a long time in this house together, it was the year 2001, but it's still like it was yesterday. Now I (R) haven't been in Vesterålen for two years, and that I feel is like a century.
How many memories, how many pictures...what to take and what to leave?

That reflection I think, is still my best picture from Vesterålen. I should keep it for the SkyWatch...

But the sky is more low than bright there...


...or there is the polar night

This summer I have to go and see all again...I hope I am now well enough to follow J who is going to visit his mother and homevillage anyhow...

Can you imagine, opening your eyes in the morning, looking out of the window - and...there is somebody who is looking in!?

Who are you - I asked - a miniature midweek messenger?

You have a miraculous mask...a little bit macabre (monstrous) and the same time funny and may-be even mesmerizing.

And not misty at all, even there is two layers of glass between us.

I went out to see it's backside.

What a marvellous material: so soft and hairy!

The beauty is mirroring itself: am I majestic enough?

We don't know what a mission it has,

may-be just migrating from point A to point B.

But don't move yet,

Thursday Challenge: Delicate

This weeks theme is "delicate" (Glass, Lace, Jewelry, Plants, Breakable Things,...)
I checked out what others had put up and only few works matched with my today's feeling what delicate or fragile thing must be. May-be some other day I would take a chinese porcelain cup or nice piece of lace, but as spring is soon here I thought only about nature...is there a more delicate and fragile "thing" as a butterfly?
